Training Information:

Our two-day, instructor lead training provides you with the basic entry-level information needed to start your career in the aesthetic industry. 

Day one is a lecture-based didactic class going over dermal filler, neurotoxin, and facial anatomy, along with a business portion that goes over how to be your own boss! This is taught by one of our Senior GLO Nurses and the owner Jamie Smith. During day one you have one of our reps come out and give a small presentation about their product(s) and how they work with GLO. You will be able to ask questions and get a good visual of how GLO works.

Day two is a clinical practicum. You will be placed in a group with one of our GLO Trainers where you will inject (neurotoxin, filler, or both) on models. Your GLO Trainer will demonstrate and supervise each injection. After training is complete you will be placed with one of our Senior GLO Nurses who will be your mentor.

• Keep in mind for day two of training you will be asked to bring models or be a model yourself, now this is not a requirement however we do encourage it. Our dermal fillers and neurotoxin prices are discounted for training.

Mentorship Information: 

Mentorship: The price of the class includes a mentorship with one of our senior injectors. Your mentorship is around a month long with 3 mandatory in-person days! Part of the mentorship will require the student to travel to the location of their mentor to shadow. The times and locations will vary due to the varying locations of our senior staff and their schedules. Please keep in mind when signing up for this course that this mentorship will require some flexibility in your work/life schedule. We do our best to assign mentors that will be most convenient for the student’s location. However, we cannot guarantee that your mentor will be in your area. We also know that each mentorship will look different for each individual. Your mentorship MUST be started within 30 days of completion of the training. 

The purpose of the mentorship is to allow you to see & get a better understanding of what it takes to be an entrepreneur in the aesthetic field. You will get first-hand experience of what a day in the life of an Aesthetic Nurse provider working autonomously looks like. This allows extra hand-holding that can be helpful at the beginning of your injection career. By no means will you be an expert injector (nor do we expect you to be) after the completion of this mentorship. You can compare it to a new job orientation period. This mentorship can help you determine if partnering with the GLO Network is right for you. It will also provide you with more knowledge on injecting independently. 

• Days One & Two Agenda:  These shadow days are where you will go into your mentors' place of business and see firsthand what a day in the life of an Independent Nurse Injector partnered with GLO looks like. You will observe their techniques, learn different skills, observe client consultations and so much more! You can also expect to learn more about the different neurotoxins, a range of dermal fillers, skin services like microneedling, and how to chart on our exclusive EMR system. The advantages of our internal communication app, Connecteam, how to purchase products, etc. This is where you will go over the mandatory checklist that is provided for you and your mentor. 
  

• Day Three Agenda:  this is an observation day where you will bring in your own models to inject and your mentor will observe you! This is not only to ensure that you have mastered the material you learned during your training/mentorship but to also ensure that you will be a safe and successful injector. 

Training App: The days when you are not present with your mentor will be spent working and going over the mentee checklist. This checklist has everything you will learn throughout your mentorship & will need to have completed for onboarding. All of this information is on our exclusive training app that has listed everything you will need to complete your mentorship. (You will be added to this app after Day 2 of Training)

NOTE: At the end of the mentorship there will be an evaluation form turned in by your mentor. This evaluation form is used to determine if the student has successfully completed their mentorship and is able to sign on with the GLO Network. As we know there is so much to learn, the importance of this evaluation lies in the mentor’s thoughts on the safety of the student moving forward in this field as well as the student's eagerness to learn, knowing that the education does not end with the completion of this course. It also helps to determine whether the student will be a good fit for GLO, should that individual want to sign on as a GLO affiliate. You and your mentor will go over this evaluation together. Remediation options will be available depending on the status of your evaulation.
